Here is another card we made for my 10-10 class.
We made this one using the rock-n-roll technique. It was so fun and easy!
To do this, you need two different color stamp pads - we used Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie. We stamped on the die cut circle from the Perfect Pennants Die.
You ink up the stamp with the lighter color
Then roll the edges in the darker color. The more you let the edges touch the ink pad, the more of the darker color will be on the outside of the stamped image.
I loved using this technique! It was quick and easy - and so much fun!
The patterned paper strip is from the Domestic Goddess DSP pack. I didn't think I would ever use this pack of paper, but I love how this turned out (I think there may be another pack on my next order!)
Stamps: Button Buddies, Curly Cute, Thank You Kindly
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Domestic Goddess DSP
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black
Etc: Bights Buttons
Thanks for the inking demo and tip. Can't wait to try it!
